Mai Miyazaki Art

I am an acrylic mixed media artist whose work explores the dynamic interplay of shapes, colors, and textures. Through my art, I express profound feelings about myself, society, and the natural world, transforming negative emotions into positive ones to foster personal healing and growth. My goal is to create a visual language that transcends borders and resonates with the universal human experience. Drawing from the rich cultural heritage of my Japanese roots and the vibrant energy of my second home in Canada, my artwork is both deeply personal and widely relatable.

This time, I am honored to also present my mother’s exquisite handmade Tsumami-zaiku hair accessories from Kyoto, Japan. Crafted using my home city Kyoto's traditional cloth, these accessories reflect the beauty and craftsmanship of our heritage. It is a privilege to introduce her creations alongside my paintings, sharing a piece of our culture and artistry.
