He is also the founder and chef instructor at Gusta Cooking Studio who distills global trends and industry knowhow into training sessions for professional clients and entertaining classes for food lovers.

Classic French trainings in cuisine and pastry set a foundation for Baron’s respectful and analytical approach towards culinary arts in the world. From his first lesson in nerikiri nearly 10 years ago, his love for wagashi has brought him to many fateful encounters. His team at Gusta was the first to bring a worldclass wagashi master to a North American tour, spreading the culture far and wide, and his store Gusta Supplies now sells the largest collection of wagashi tools and ingredients in Canada.
